Cooking up fun with Darren!

Year 3 had a fantastic time in the kitchen with Darren from Roots to Food, learning how to whip up a tasty Szechuan chicken. The session wasn’t just about flavour—it was about skills too! Darren showed us how to handle knives safely and slice like a pro, while also reminding us how easy it is to make healthy choices by cooking from scratch. With plenty of fresh veggies, lean protein, and a kick of spice, everyone left with new skills, full stomachs, and big smiles.
