Pupils in Y5 and Y6 from Bourne Westfield Academy and Thurlby Community Primary school joined creative forces to take part in the Coram Shakespeare Schools Festive.
Following weeks of rehearsals and lots of hard work from the pupils, staff and families, the cast of 30 performed an impressive version of, 'The Tempest', at the New Theatre in Peterborough.
The children had a memorable day experiencing what it is like to perform as a professional on a stage with lighting and sound effects.
Mrs Finch, Headteacher at Thurlby and Mrs McCullough, Deputy Headteacher at Westfield, were overwhelmed by the excellent standard of performance the children managed to achieve.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to be part of a wider community of performers from schools across Lincolnshire.
