Fire Engine Visit

Today our Year 2 children were absolutely buzzing with excitement when they stepped onto the playground and discovered a real fire engine waiting for them. As part of our learning about the Great Fire of London, and how firefighters in 1666 didn’t have the equipment we rely on today, it was a fantastic opportunity to see how things have changed. The highlight was definitely getting to climb inside the fire engine and explore it up close.
