Little Chicks are Hatching

The children have loved hatching and caring for the chicks in Reception this week. They have drawn them, painted them, learned about their life cycle and written about them too.

The children have spent time observing the chicks and noticing how they are changing over time. The favourite activities have been creating a garden for the chicks to play in and also, of course, giving them a gentle cuddle.
