On Friday 20th June, the Year 3 pupils enjoyed a day dressed up and celebrating their learning from our popular Roman topic. The pupils had an opportunity to explore using a range of small tiles to produce their own mosaics and also designed "gold" pendants. The children also expanded their knowledge of Roman gods and goddesses and made clay reliefs to represent the symbols linked to the god or goddess. Lastly, they made Roman shields and recapped how the Roman army were so successful. A fun day for us all!
