The sports day season has now been and gone at Bourne Westfield Primary Academy – most held in glorious sunshine.
Children enjoyed showing off their sporting ability and the school field was full of family members cheering on the side line whilst children completed their events with great enthusiasm from all involved!
Deputy Headteacher, Jo McCullough, commented, “We were so lucky with the weather for our sports days this year, apart from for Year 3 which had to be re-scheduled twice! For Reception children, it was their first sports day and they certainly performed for their parents. For Year 6 children it was their final sports day and they went all out to showcase their sporting skills. It was lovely to see them cheering on and supporting every child to do their best.”
