Bourne Westfield Primary Academy enjoyed an afternoon of ‘Summer Fun’ last Friday. The beautiful sunshine saw visitors pour through the gates and a lovely time was enjoyed by all.
From tombola, refreshments, bouncy castles, ice-creams and candy floss, entertainment from the school’s Samba Band and Rock Band - there was something for everyone.
Joint fair organisers Jo Challinor, Amanda Nightingale and Becky Daines commented “The event went extremely well and all funds raised will provide additional resources for children at the school. Parents, staff and children are always very supportive of this event and for that we are extremely grateful. This is very much a joint venture and thanks must also go to everyone who attended the event and helped us raise such a fantastic amount, not forgetting local companies who kindly supported us.”
