Year 2 Cook up a Treat

Today Year 2 had a very exciting visit from Roots to Food. Chef Darren inspired the children by guiding them through their cooking of Pesto Chicken Pasta in chunky tomato sauce. The children got to learn the claw and bridge cutting skills when preparing the vegetables with a sharp knife. As the smell wafted through the corridors, they tasted their dish and loved it!
