Year 2 visit Skegness

Published: 26th June 2025

As part of our Geography learning about coastal features, Year 2 took a visit to Skegness where they explored Natureland Seal Sanctury and took a stroll onto the beach. The children got to see feel the sand beneath their feet, look out to sea at the waves, spot the pier, groynes and walk along the promenade. The children watched the rescue seals being fed at the Sanctury and learned about the amazing work they do at the seal hospital treating injured seals from the neighbouring waters. A thoroughly enjoyable, sunny day and a wonderful lasting memory for all the children.
