Year 4 pupils had an unforgettable experience when Animals UK came to visit our school, bringing along a fascinating collection of animals from around the world. The children were excited to meet a variety of creatures, including snakes, tarantulas, meerkats and chameleons.
Many of the children showed incredible courage by volunteering to hold and interact with the animals. From gently holding snakes to meeting a tarantula up close, the pupils demonstrated confidence, curiosity and respect for the creatures. The meerkats were a particular favourite, while the colourful chameleons impressed everyone with their unique appearance.
The visit gave the children a fantastic opportunity to learn about animals through hands-on experiences. Their enthusiasm and bravery made the day a great success, and they represented the school wonderfully.
