Last Tuesday we visited Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Peterborough. The visit allowed us to explore our learning all about Sikhism and provided us with a unique opportunity to see a special place of worship.
During the visit, we walked around the Gurdwara and were able to see the museum, the prayer room and the langar hall. The children were invited to try some traditional cuisine and many of them loved it!
Year 3 teacher, Tamsin Sawyer said “The children felt very privileged to see a Gurdwara firsthand and enjoyed experiencing their learning in real life.”
